Kings Soopers employee tests positive for COVID-19

Live reports about the spread of COVID-19 in Colorado continue to come from the Colorado Springs Gazette, with their latest revealing that King Soopers confirmed that one of their employees had tested positive for the new coronavirus.
Kings Soopers has not revealed the location of this employee’s workplace at this time. This is a developing story.

Many grocery stores around the state are adjusting their hours amid the outbreak.
King Soopers is cutting hours, now opening at 7 AM and closing at 8 PM. Typical hours for Colorado Springs stores are 5 AM – midnight. The shorter days will allow more time to stock shelves. Read more on that here.
Walmart also cut hours of 24-hour stores to 6 AM to 11 PM for similar reasons.
It’s also worth mentioning that the temporary ski resort shut down in Colorado is now official and additional details have emerged on the subject, including how long the shut down will last.
There are currently 101 cases spread around the state, many of which are found in the Denver area, as well as parts of ski country.
