$5 fan-friendly menu rolls out at Ball Arena after complaints about high prices

DENVER — Ball Arena is rolling out lower food prices for some staple items this fall, addressing fan complaints about some of the highest concession costs among major sports venues in the Denver area.

The arena’s new “fan friendly menu” offers stadium staples for $5, including hot dogs previously priced at $7.50, pretzels previously priced $8, and fountain sodas previously priced at $6.50.

The most dramatic change affects beer prices: 20 ounces of select domestic draft beer will now cost $10 for sporting events only, making Ball Arena’s domestic draft beer the cheapest among Denver’s major sports venues at 50 cents per ounce, according to a survey of stadium food prices by Steve On Your Side.

The new menu

  • Hot dog – $5
  • Cheese nacho – $5
  • Popcorn – $5
  • Candy – $5
  • Fries – $5
  • Jumbo pretzel – $5
