2 dead in single vehicle crash on I-225 exit lane, Denver police say
Denver police are investigating what led to a single vehicle crash resulting in the death of two people on Sunday morning.
Police first received a report of the crash at 3:57 a.m. along the southbound Interstate 225 exit to Interstate 25. Officers arrived to find a car involved in a single vehicle rollover crash, according to a Denver Police Department spokesperson.
Two people were pronounced dead on-scene, according to police.
It is unclear what led to the vehicle crashing.
Police said southbound I-25 is closed until further notice.
The crash remains under investigation.
