Denver weather: Early clouds lead to sunny skies Tuesday ahead of potential snow Saturday morning
Cooler conditions Tuesday are forecast around metro Denver as cloud cover keeps the city in the shade most of the day, however, the sun should peep its face from behind the clouds in the afternoon and bring some warmth back before sunset.
Denverites can expect mostly cloudy skies today, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 45, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. East winds to blow between 5 to 8 mph.
Tonight it’ll be mostly clear, with a low around 25. East southeast wind around 6 mph becoming calm after midnight.
The rest of the week, including Thanksgiving Day, should offer mostly sunny conditions and high temperatures in the mid 50s with low temperatures in the low 30s and upper 20s.
Forecast models still think snow is possible late Friday night into Saturday morning for metro Denver, potentially ending the streak of days without snow falling as well as the city’s first snow of the year.

Currently, the city has not seen snow fall since April 19 (220 days ago) and is in second place for the latest first snow. The latest first snow date is Dec. 10, and if this forecast holds true, that record will stay intact.
Here’s the 4-day forecast from the National Weather Service.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 53. Calm wind becoming north northeast around 6 mph in the afternoon.
Thanksgiving: Mostly sunny, with a high near 56. Light and variable wind becoming east northeast around 5 mph.
Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 59.
Saturday: A slight chance of snow. Partly sunny, with a high near 40.
