Denver weather: Sunny conditions return Monday ahead of mid-week snow storm
Ample sunshine returns across metro Denver on Monday, but high temperatures stay cool after a cold front pushed through the state Sunday evening.
Denver residents can expect sunny skies today, with a high near 38, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. Light and variable winds become north northeast between 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon.
Tonight it’ll be partly cloudy, with a low around 22. South wind around 7 mph.
Gradual warming on Tuesday won’t last long as more snow is forecast to arrive Tuesday night into Wednesday.
Forecasted snowfall of between 1-3 inches could be on the ground by Wednesday afternoon, with slightly higher totals in the western foothills and southern suburbs.
Sunny conditions return Thursday and Friday to close out the first week of December.
