Westminster police investigating TJ Maxx armed robbery
No suspects have been arrested in connection to an armed robbery at a Westminster department store Tuesday evening.
The Westminster Police Department responded to the TJ Maxx at 10456 N. Town Center Drive — just west of U.S. 36 — around 10 p.m. Tuesday after someone reported an armed robbery at the store, a spokesperson with the department told The Denver Gazette.
The caller told police that three suspects entered the store and stole two carts of merchandise. When confronting the suspects, one of the suspects allegedly threatened to pull a gun on the caller.
The three suspects then took off in a black sedan.
No arrests have been made and an investigation continues, police said.
TJ Maxx did not respond for comment at the time of this report.
