Amber Glenn, who trains in Colorado Springs, nearly joined her on the podium with a free skate that scored 147.52 – third best in the field – and vaulted her up to fifth place after a 13th-place finish in the short program.
– Niklas Malacinski (Steamboat Springs) helped the U.S. to a seventh-place finish in the Nordic combined team sprint, which combines ski jumping and cross-country skiing.
