Previews for movies opening in theaters for the weekend of June 4-7: ‘Masters of the Universe’ and more
“F1® on Apple TV Live in IMAX: Monaco Race” — (Special event, not rated, 150 minutes). The Monaco Formula 1 race will be broadcast live in IMAX theaters.

“Masters of the Universe” — (Action, PG-13, 132 minutes). When he was 10 years old, Prince Adam crashed to Earth in a spaceship from his home on Eternia and was separated from his magical sword. Now, he must find the sword and return to his home planet to defend it from the evil forces of Skeletor.

“Peddi” — (Action, not rated, 182 minutes). In the 1980s, a spirited villager named Andhra Pradesh unites his community to defend their pride against a powerful rival through sports.

“Power Ballad” — (Comedy, R, 98 minutes). Rick, a washed-up wedding singer, sets out to find the recognition he thinks he deserves after Danny, a fading boy-band member, turns one of Rick’s songs into a big hit.

“Scary Movie” — (Comedy, R, 95 minutes). Twenty years after outrunning a masked killer, a group of friends once again find themselves in the crosshairs of killers, monsters and supernatural creatures.

“The Amazing Digital Circus: The Last Act” — (Animation, not rated, 93 minutes). The viral sensation “The Amazing Digital Circus” concludes with a theatrical release, in which everyone is held in a digital realm by an unstable ringmaster.
