Denver police arrest suspect in Columbine Street homicide
Denver police arrested a suspect in a mid-July fatal shooting on North Columbine Street.
Police announced the arrest of Jacob Anglon, 29, Friday following the July 19 shooting that killed one man and injured another, according to a news release.
Officers responded to the shooting call around 9:19 a.m., finding two men with gunshot wounds. One died at a hospital and the other was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators found that Anglon knew the two men, but the motive for the shooting is under investigation.
Anglon is being held for investigation of first-degree murder and attempted murder.
The Denver District Attorney’s Office will determine charges.
