“Hamilton” musical tour coming to Buell Theatre in Denver, tickets on sale next week
The man referred to as “Non-Stop” will, in fact, be making a stop in Denver this fall.
The national tour of the hit musical “Hamilton” will perform at the Buell Theatre in downtown Denver from Oct. 16 to Nov. 24. The show previously sold-out its Denver runs in 2018 and 2022.
The Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA) announced Tuesday that single tickets for “Hamilton” will go on sale to the public on Tuesday, July 9, at 10 a.m. MT, online at hamilton.denvercenter.org or by phone at 303-893-4100.
The vision of actor, songwriter, and performer, Lin-Manuel Miranda, the musical debuted to critical acclaim in 2015.
“Hamilton” has won Grammy, Olivier Awards, the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, a special citation from the Kennedy Center Honors — and 11 Tony Awards.
“Hamilton” is billed as an “epic saga that follows the rise of founding father Alexander Hamilton as he fights for honor, love and a legacy that would shape the course of a nation,” per the show’s event page.
It is based on Ron Chernow’s acclaimed biography of the historical figure and set to a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, R&B and Broadway music.
“Hamilton” ticket prices will range from $49 to $199 with a select number of premium seats available from $229 for all performances. DCPA said there will be a maximum purchase limit of nine tickets per account for the engagement.
There will also be a lottery for 40, $10 seats for all performances. Details for the lottery will be announced by DCPA closer to the engagement.
“Hamilton” is not part of the DCPA 2024/25 Broadway subscription ticket package but is an “added attraction.”
However, patrons with a subscription package will have priority access to purchase tickets from June 11 to June 17, based on availability. Those who buy a season subscription before June 11 can obtain early access to “Hamilton” tickets.
For those unable to obtain tickets to the live performance, but would still like the opportunity to watch it, “Hamilton” is also available to stream on Disney Plus.
