Denver’s best pizza March Madness bracket: Top pizzerias advance to Sweet 16

This year’s Denver’s Best Pizza bracket is entirely reader-driven—after taking your reader nominations and tallying the pizza spots with the most votes, we narrowed the field down from hundreds of restaurants down to 32.

After thousands of votes in the first round, the field for the Sweet 16 in the search for Denver’s best pizza has been set.

The following pizzerias have advanced:

Fat Sully’s, CHAR Stone Fired Pizza, Blue Pan, Big Bill’s NY Pizza, Brooklyn’s Finest, Cosmo’s Pizza, Walter’s303, Beau Jo’s, Carl’s Pizza, Dough Counter, Pizzeria Leopold, White Pie, Marco’s Coal Fired, Pizzeria Lui, SliceWorks, and Urban Field will move on in the search for Denver’s best pizza.

Fat Sully’s dominated the first round, winning by the largest margin with 78% of the vote over Parry’s.

Pizzeria Leopold also secured a commanding victory, earning 78% of the vote against Little Arthur’s Hoagie’s.

In one of the closest battles of the round, Walter’s 303 edged out Pie Hole by fewer than 40 votes.

New rounds will be unveiled every Sunday exclusively on our website. Voting closes on Saturday night, and a valid email must be submitted to cast a vote.
