Britney Spears says parts of documentary are 'not true' and made her 'scratch her head'

Britney Spears was not impressed with a recent documentary that detailed her conservatorship, claiming on Monday that it made her "scratch her head."

The singer posted her thoughts on a documentary that covered her battle for freedom on Instagram, saying it was "really crazy." A post on Monday read nearly identically, saying that a lot of the information in the documentary is "not true," according to Page Six.

"It's really crazy guys ... I watched a little bit of the last documentary and I must say I scratched my head a couple of times!!!" Spears wrote. "I really try to disassociate myself from the drama!!!"

Spears did not specify in her post which documentary she was reacting to, though a source reportedly told the outlet she was referring to CNN's Toxic: Britney Spears' Battle for Freedom, which aired Sunday at 8 p.m.

Other statements made in Spears's post sarcastically criticized the "classy" dialogue in the documentary as well as the footage used. Spears joked that the filmmakers used "the most beautiful footage of me in the world" and mockingly praised the "effort" put forth on their part.

Spears's Instagram post comes just under three weeks after her father, Jamie Spears, filed a legal petition on Sept. 7 asking to end his daughter's conservatorship. Britney Spears also recently announced her engagement to her longtime boyfriend on Sept. 12, announcing the news in an Instagram video.
