Free coronavirus testing at Citadel Mall

Officials from The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment announced the launch of COVID-19 community testing mobile vans on Friday.

Officials from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment announced the state's first mobile COVID-19 community testing program Friday evening.

The vans will run one route throughout Jefferson, Douglas, Clear Creek and Park counties and a second near the Northeast Colorado Health Department beginning Sunday. 

The mobile community testing vans for Northeast Colorado Health Department will administer tests at the Logan County, Washington County, and Sedwick County fairgrounds as well as at the Northeastern Colorado Health Departments office at 228 West Railroad Avenue.

Throughout Jefferson, Douglas, Clear Creek and Park counties the vans will begin mobilizing on Monday and will be stop at Bailey Public Library, Our Lady of Pines Catholic Church in Conifer, Clear Creek County EMS, Sterling Center, Decker Community Center, Ponderosa Retreat and Conference Center and Buchanan Recreation Center throughout the week.

Officials encourage anyone tested to remain in quarantine until the results of the test are returned.
