An investigation is underway by the Denver Police Department following a shooting that sent one person to the hospital overnight.
Police were dispatched after a report of a shooting in the 2500 block of South Dayton Way in Denver's Hampden neighborhood at 3:30 a.m. Friday.
Upon arrival, officers located a man who suffered a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries, police said.
No arrests and no information about a suspect were known as of 2 p.m. Friday.
