Surveillance footage shows the suspect in an attempted aggravated robbery on Dec. 17.

The Denver Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted for attempted aggravated robbery earlier this month, DPD announced Monday. 

Police said the attempted robbery happened Dec. 17 at 1:50 p.m. at 2200 S. Monaco St.

During the attempted robbery, the suspect threatened victims with an unknown handgun, police said. No one was injured.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male around 20 years old. He is approximately 5-feet-4-inches tall with a medium build.

Surveillance footage from the robbery shows the suspect wearing a Broncos beanie, a black face mask and a blue and grey jacket.

Anyone with information is asked to call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. Tipsters can remain anonymous and are eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
