The Adams County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in investigating the armed robbery of a Westminster gas station on Monday morning.
Deputies said the robbery happened about 9:15 a.m. at the Everyday gas station at 7990 Federal Blvd., near West 80th Avenue and Federal Boulevard.
A male suspect entered the gas station and pointed a black handgun at the clerk, demanding money, the sheriff's office said. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect ran away in an unknown direction.
No one was injured during the robbery.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic man who was wearing a dark-hooded sweatshirt, jeans and a face covering.
The investigation is ongoing. Detectives have interviewed witnesses and the sheriff’s office’s lab and crime scene team has processed the scene.
