The two bodies found inside a Littleton home on Thursday have been identified as 91-year-old Bernice Bright and her son Clark Bright, 62, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to a report of a possible suicide in the 7900 block of South Estes Street at 2:50 p.m. and located the bodies inside of the home. They were pronounced dead on scene and each suffered a gunshot wound, said Mike Taplin, a spokesperson for the JCSO.

Investigators processed the scene, conducted interviews and currently believe there were no other parties involved in the incident.

The Brights’ cause and manner of death will be released at a later date by the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office.

The investigation is ongoing.
