The Littleton Police Department is asking for the public help to identify and locate a person who struck a bicyclist on Saturday and fled the scene.

Police said the collision happened shortly before 9 p.m. when a bicyclist was struck by a silver Toyota 4-Runner that was leaving a parking lot at 1100 W. Littleton Blvd. 

The driver left the scene without stopping, checking or administering aid to the injured man.

The cyclist is in serious condition, but is expected to survive, according to a release from the police department. 

Authorities are asking everyone to be on the lookout for the vehicle and believe it has damage to the front end or hood.
