Two 13-year-old girls from Fort Collins and Loveland were found safe after they were missing for over a week, the Fort Collins Police Department said Friday.
Police had been searching for Ava Chance of Fort Collins and Isabel Romualdo of Loveland since Tuesday. Police believed the girls had run away.
The girls left their respective homes in the early hours on Nov. 11 and were believed to have been traveling together. They were last seen about 2:40 a.m. on Nov. 11 in Loveland in the area of 41st Street and Taft Avenue.
Chance was seen entering an older model four-door red vehicle in Fort Collins that dropped her off in Loveland about 1:45 a.m. on Nov. 11 before returning north.
Police said the girls have been returned to their homes and are safe.
“We appreciate the efforts of our community members who shared information about this case,” the FCPD announcement said.
