A 23-year-old man was arrested after police say he sexually assaulted a girl he met on social media, the Fort Collins Police Department said Wednesday. 

Abraham Carranza-Estrada was arrested Sept. 17 on suspicion of sexual assault on a child, enticement of a child and sexual exploitation of a child — all felonies, court records show.

According to police, Carranza-Estrada met the girl through social media in April.

He arranged to meet the girl on several occasions and engaged in sexual activity. He also reportedly convinced the girl to send him sexually explicit photos.

After a five-month investigation, police arrested Carranza-Estrada and he was booked into the Larimer County Jail.

Police are concerned there are additional victims.
