A popular Pueblo attraction was the target of vandalism over the weekend and now police are searching for the suspects.

Several anti-Columbus signs were placed along portions of the city's riverwalk by multiple people using adhesives around 8 a.m. Sunday, according to the Pueblo Police Department.

Authorities said it will cost around $3,000 to remove the signs with "specialized equipment" and replace some Historic Arkansas Riverwalk of Pueblo signs that were damaged.

The department has not provided official descriptions of the suspects, but released a gallery of photos of the suspected individuals Tuesday evening.

Anyone with information regarding the incident are urged to contact Detective Colbert at 719-553-2478.
