Surveillance footage shows the man responsible for several trespassings and vehicle break ins in Boulder County Wednesday.

A man committed a series of trespassing and burglaries early Wednesday morning in unincorporated Boulder County, the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office announced.

All of the crimes occurred between midnight and 1 a.m. in the 2000 and 3000 blocks of North 75th Street, across from the Valmont Reservoir.

Deputies were first called to the scene just before 12:30 a.m. when a homeowner reported a man was trespassing on their property and had broken into their vehicle in the 2300 block of North 75th Street.

Less than 10 minutes later, another report came in from the same block of a man breaking into a homeowner’s garage and vehicle.

Deputies and officers from surrounding jurisdictions responded, setting up a perimeter around the neighborhood.

Using K-9s, deputies tracked the suspect to the 3000 block of North 75th Street where they found opened mail and another vehicle that had been broken into.

Despite several hours of searching using K-9s and drones, officials did not locate the suspect. Officials believe the suspect fled the area on a bicycle before the perimeter was set up.

Footage from several home security camera shows the suspect as a thin white male who was wearing a black leather jacket, dark jeans, a black face mask, a black beanie with a headlamp and a light-colored, military-style backpack.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office.

Officers from the Boulder, Longmont, Lafayette and Erie police departments as well as troopers with the Colorado State Patrol also responded to this incident.
