Driver caught driving at 107 MPH on Colorado highway
The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to slow down after catching one motorist traveling at excessive speeds along Highway 94 Wednesday evening.
One EPCSO Sergeant stopped a driver just before 9 p.m. along Highway 94 traveling at 107 mph, according to a social media post. The posted speed limit in the area is marked at 65 mph, officials said.
Sherriff’s Office spokesperson Marcus Miller said the driver was issued a summons to court after being stopped and could be facing up to four traffic violations including reckless driving and speed limits 40+ over.
