Seven people were arrested and various contraband seized after Jefferson County Sheriffs executed a search warrant on a home in Littleton Tuesday morning.
The arrests impacted neighbors has police issued a “shelter in place” order for area residents.
The seven arrested at 6 a.m. Tuesday morning in the 8000 block of West Star Avenue in Littleton — Jeffrey Benjamin, 33, Kearstein Craycraft, 28, Zana Walthall, 25, Joshua Jacobson, 24, Raymond Henkel, 38, Ashlee Hubler, 29, and Robert Blake, 33 — had active warrants unrelated to the search, which was for guns, drugs and stolen property, the sheriff’s officials said in a news release Tuesday afternoon.
Among the charges each had a warrant for were theft, burglary and possession of controlled substances, according to the release.
The warrant was the result of an investigation into a lengthy history of illegal activity at the home. There were 12 people inside the house when police arrived Tuesday morning.
While police were taking the people into custody, a shelter-in-place order was issued for homes in the immediate area, though there was not stand off or other threat to neighbors, police confirmed Tuesday afternoon. The order was lifted a short while later.
