Both directions of C-470 near Ken Caryl reopened after a three-hour closure because of a rollover crash, according to the Colorado State Patrol.
C470 is open. All westbound lanes are clear, except for the usual spectators slowing down. One lane is open eastbound. Authorities responded to a report of a serious accident on the highway between the Ken Caryl and Bowles Avenue exits.
Upon their arrival, they located a driver who was ejected during the crash. They were taken to a hospital with serious injuries, but their current status is unknown, said Trooper Josh Lewis, a public information officer, with the state patrol.

Closures of the highway caused significant delays as lines of traffic extended from the crash site more than 3 miles to 285, Lewis said.
Investigators are trying to determine what led to the crash. It is currently unknown if speed, drugs or alcohol played a factor.
