A 25-year-old man was found dead by the Boulder County Sheriff's Office on Tuesday afternoon about an hour northwest of Boulder.

Deputies responded to a call in the 200 block of Switzerland Trail Road, a hiking trail northwest of Bald and Sugarloaf Mountain, about a possible dead body.

Upon the arrival, first responders located the body and pronounced the man dead at the scene. Foul play isn't suspected to be a cause of death, according to the sheriff's office.

The identity of the man was not released.

An investigation by the sheriff's office and the Boulder County Coroner's Office is ongoing.
