TikTok star Candice Murley dies days after saying voices in her head go silent

TikTok star Candice Murley has died just days after posting a video saying the voices in her head sometimes stop talking.

The family of Murley, 36, confirmed her death in Canada on Monday, just two days after she posted a video to her TikTok saying she "hate[s] it when the voices in [her] head go silent" because then she doesn't know "what those f***ers are up to."

"We have received some news no one wants to hear, tonight we lost a huge part of our family, my sister Candice. This was very unexpected, and our hearts are torn apart," wrote Murley's sister, Marsha McEvoy, on a GoFundMe page set up for funeral expenses.

Murley died on Monday in her home in Lewin's Cove in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador, according to an online obituary. The family has not confirmed a cause of death.
