One person died Saturday after the vehicle they were driving crashed with another vehicle and caught fire, Aurora police said.

Police reported the fatal crash in a tweet posted at 9:35 p.m. Saturday night.

The crash was reported at South Buckley Road and Mansfield Avenue; police said the intersection would be closed for an “extended amount of time.”

Police said the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is ongoing and did not provide any additional details Saturday night.
