Rollerblading suspect reportedly assaulted man with hockey stick in Boulder
The Boulder Police Department is on the hunt for an assault suspect who made his getaway on rollerblades.
According to a report on the matter, the victim of the assault was riding his bike in the area of 27th Way and Baseline on October 23 at about 7:06 p.m. when the incident occurred. The victim called 911 to report that the suspect on rollerblades approached him from behind while skating and assaulted him verbally and with a hockey stick.
Thankfully, the victim was not seriously injured in the incident, refusing medical treatment.
The suspect was described as a white male of medium-to-tall height with a slender build. He was wearing all black clothing and a black ski mask at the time of the incident, with a green Gatorade bottle with an orange top sticking out of his back right pants pocket.
The suspect fled the scene after the victim called 911, prompting a search from law enforcement. That search was ultimately unsuccessful.
The Boulder Police Department has requested help from the public in identifying the suspect. Anyone who witnessed the incident or may have other related information should call the department’s non-emergency line.
