Colorado Springs breweries set to host ‘disc golf bike crawl’ with holes spread around town
Fans of craft beer and disc golf won’t want to miss the upcoming Disc Golf Brewery Bike Crawl that’s set to take place in Colorado Springs.
On November 22 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., participants will travel a set course that includes stops at Goat Patch Brewing (downtown), Trinity Brewing, Red Leg Brewing Company, and Fossil Craft Beer Company, playing a total of nine holes of disc golf with two to three holes set up at each brewery location.
The course that’s used will be designed by Chain Reaction Disc Golf Experience and participation costs $25. Event proceeds benefit Pike Ride, the non-profit that’s behind the public e-bike rental service in Colorado Springs.
As a quick reminder, participants should drink responsibly during participation. Don’t ride a bicycle while intoxicated as this can result in a DUI, serious injury, or death. Go for beer that’s on the lighter side in terms of ABV or consider skipping a beverage at a stop or two if need be. It’s also worth noting that biking between locations isn’t required – a designated driver or a ride share service like Uber or Lyft are options, too.
