2 Colorado outdoor concert series rank among “best in the US”
The summer and spring months are the perfect time for outdoor concerts, and many towns across the U.S. offer events with diverse genres of music that are a great chance to enjoy the outdoors in the evening.
USA Today 10Best recently published its list of the best outdoor concert series across the U.S., and two Colorado events were included.
USA Today 10Best is a readers’ choice awards program that highlights the best in the destinations, food and drink, hotels, and things to do. An expert panel selects the top picks in each category and readers vote to determine the ten winners.
Hot Summer Nights in Vail took fifth place on the list. Th town of Vail hosts free outdoor concerts throughout the summer at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater. Guests can bring a picnic and blankets of chairs and sprawl out on the grassy area above the theater to enjoy the performance.
The Levitt Pavilion Denver Concert Series in Denver took sixth place. This concert series starts in May and runs through October. It features a variety of artists that span genres. The event is free, but guests are encouraged to RSVP, according to USA Today.
Clematis By Night in West Palm Beach, Florida took first place.
