9 celebrities who own homes in Colorado

With its natural beauty, outdoor recreation, and vibrant culture, Colorado attracts many people, including an impressive list of celebrities.

Here are eight celebrities who own a home in Colorado:

1. William H. Macy

William H. Macy owns a home in Little Woody Creek with his wife Felicity Huffman. Huffman grew up on the land the house sits on, and it was also the site of the couple’s wedding. Macy is an American actor who has appeared in movies and TV shows including “Fargo,”, “Shameless,” “Boogie Nights,” “Mystery Men,” “Jurassic Park III,” “Cellular,” “Wild Hog,” and “Shorts.”

2. Kevin Costner

Costner owns a vacation home in Aspen, which consists of 12 rooms, mountain views, lake access, and a private baseball field. Costner is an American actor, musician, producer, and director. He has won two Academy Awards, one Emmy award, and three Golden Globe awards. Costner is known for his roles in “Dances with Wolves,” “The Bodyguard,” “Bull Durham,” “Field of Dreams,” and “Yellowstone.”

3. Robert Wagner

Wagner, an American actor, has lived in a home in Aspen with his wife Jill St. John since 1995, full-time since 2007. As well as appearing on the TV shows “It Takes a Thief,” “Switch,” “Hart to Hart,” “Two and a Half Men,” and “NCIS,” he has worked as a political activist.

4. Tim Allen

Allen is a Denver native, and owns a cabin in Grand Lake. Allen is a Golden Globe Award-winning American actor and is known for his roles in TV shows and movies such as “Home Improvement,” “The Santa Clause,” “Toy Story,” and “Toy Story 2.”

5. Daryl Hannah

Hannah owns a mansion in Placerville, which is near Telluride. The actress has appeared in movies such as “Splash,” “Roxanne,” “Blade Runner,” “Wall Street,” and “Steel Magnolias.” Hannah is also an environmentalist, and has used solar electricity and green building materials in the construction of her home.

6. Trey Parker and Matt Stone

The creators of South Park own a home in Steamboat Springs together that features a Japanese teahouse and western styles. Parker is also a native Coloradan, and both attended the University of Colorado Boulder.

7. Oprah Winfrey

According to Business Insider, media mogul Oprah Winfrey owns a $14 million, 8,700-square-foot ski chalet in Telluride. The home includes a private spa, hot tub, and 56-foot-long-wine cave.

8. Pam Grier

Grier gained fame in the 1970s for her work in action and blaxploitation films, and now resides on a ranch near Denver. Some of her most popular movies are “Jackie Brown,” “Coffy,” “Foxy Brown,” “Black Mama White Mama,” “Sheba, Baby,” “Friday Foster,” and “The Arena.”
