Colorado ski resort announces opening day
Wolf Creek Ski Area has announced that Tuesday, Oct. 22 will be the first day of the 2024-2025 ski season.
The Bonanza, Treasure, and Nova Lifts will operate from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. beginning on Oct. 22. This provides access to about 30 percent of the mountain. The Magic Carpet will also be open for the Wolf Pup and Wolf Rider Programs.
To celebrate opening day and the resort’s 85th Anniversary, skiers and snowboarders wearing the anniversary colors of red and gold will receive a 85th Anniversary sticker.
