Hunt for hidden cash is on as man goes viral for hiding money around Colorado

A mysterious social media account has popped up over the last month, putting cash in the hands of Coloradans with a treasure hunting twist.

The social media account, Miracle Man Cash, doesn’t put a face to the brand, instead featuring only a hand seen placing cash in various places around the Denver metro area. Once the cash is securely placed, it’s up to those online to track it down and claim it as a prize.

The account has gained more than 60,000 followers on Instagram in less than 30 days with just 43 posts.

The money amounts are relatively small – in the range of about $30 to $50, but always accompanied with a two dollar bill, as well. The cash is hidden on crowded streets, near parks, in stores, and in parking lots, with a few quick seconds of video revealing limited clues that allow the viewer to recognize where it’s at.

As of now, locations of the cash have been in Longmont, Lakewood, Loveland, Fort Collins, Greeley, Boulder, Denver, Louisville, Colorado Springs, Broomfield, Manitou Springs, Thornton, Arvada, Aurora, Castle Pines, Greenwood Village, Lafayette, and Golden.

Try your hand at finding the cash here.
