SNOW TOTALS: Two feet of snow hits parts of Colorado over weekend

Another big round of snow hit Colorado over the weekend, bringing the statewide snowpack back to 91 percent of the to-date norm – still lagging behind what’s typical for the start of February, but not by much.

The storm hit a little bit differently than expected, but still dropped totals of up to two feet. Ultimately, the storm landed a little farther east compared to initial reports that said mountains in the west would see the deepest accumulation. Additionally, warmer temperatures impacted how much snow ultimately accumulated.

Here’s a look at how much snow landed around the state, based on National Weather Service reporting and reporting at various ski areas.
