Nuggets, Avalanche game streaming: Altitude+ now available for download
Altitude Sports will make 40 games available on over-the-air TV in Denver market
Avalanche and Nuggets fans are one step closer to streaming local game broadcasts.
The Altitude+ mobile application is now available for download on iOS and Android devices. The streaming service, powered by Altitude Sports and ViewLift, costs $19.95/month to access all Nuggets and Avalanche games not exclusive to national networks.
The streaming service is free to subscribers of DirecTV and Fubo TV with packages that already include Altitude Sports. Altitude+ is available across nine states: Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, South Dakota and Wyoming.
A Smart TV app for Altitude+ is being developed but is currently unavailable. Altitude Sports will make a combined 40 Avalanche/Nuggets games available on over-the-air TV (9NEWS, My20) during the upcoming NHL/NBA season.
The Avalanche-Utah Hockey Club game on Thursday night is the first OTA broadcast as part of the new agreement. It is expected to be available on Altitude+. The Nuggets-Thunder season opener is on TNT.
