Rockies unveil new ‘City Connect’ uniforms for 2025 MLB season
New look is “inspired by Colorado’s iconic sunrises and sunsets,” team says
The Rockies are turning the page on their green license-plate inspired City Connect uniforms with a new look.
The team unveiled its 2025 version on Saturday with a short video posted to social media. It includes a Rockies fan waking up to go snowboarding in the mountains and players wearing the new color scheme: purple, light blue, orange, pink and yellow.
“Inspired by Colorado’s iconic sunrises and sunsets from the Rocky Mountains, our colors reflect a palette that pays homage to that perfect transition between day and night,” the Rockies said on their City Connect website. “A blend of bluebird skies against the backdrop of purple mountain majesty, highlighted by brilliant orange and pink, bright and hopeful.”
The purple and light blue Nike jerseys feature large “ROCKIES” script across the chest with the alternative mountains and baseball logo in sunrise colors. The pants are white with sunrise colors striped down the leg.
The Rockies plan to wear them on Friday of every homestand for the rest of this season. Fans can purchase City Connect uniforms and apparel online and at Rockies Dugout store locations in Colorado.
