Where the good news shines

Colorado State softball’s Ashley York and Hailey Smith were named to the 2024 All-Mountain West preseason team on Wednesday. The Rams were also picked third in the preseason poll.

Both York and Smith are coming off of a stellar 2023 season where both were named to the All-Mountain West First-Team. Both junior outfielders return for their senior seasons.

As a team, the Rams received 46 points in poll and were voted to finish third in the Mountain West behind front runner San Diego State who finished the voting with 64 points and eight first-place votes, and Boise State who finished with 57 votes and one first-place vote.
