Colorado State’s Nique Clifford is going places.
Next stop: the NBA draft combine in Chicago.
After three seasons at Colorado and two at Colorado State, Clifford is attending the combine at Wintrust Arena, hoping to elevate his stock.
You can watch the combine workouts at Noon Wednesday (ESPN2/ESPN+). The combine runs through Sunday.
Monday at the combine, Clifford’s height was measured at 6-foot-5 1/4; his standing reach at 8-foot-6 1/2; his wingspan at 6-foot-8; and his weight at 202 pounds.
Clifford was one of 78 prospects invited to the combine after he set the Colorado State single-season scoring record with 681 points.
A Colorado Springs native, Clifford averaged 18.9 points, 9.6 rebounds and 4.4 assists while helping CSU to a win in the NCAA Tournament.
The NBA draft is June 26-27.
