Denver weather: Chilly Thanksgiving Day with sunshine and calm conditions
After Colorado’s mountains received feet of snow and the Denver metro area just a few inches, the sun will return for Thanksgiving Day Thursday with an extended warming and drying period beginning.
Denver residents can expect sunny skies, with a high near 39 today, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. South winds to blow around 6 mph become calm throughout most of the day.
Tonight it will be mostly clear, with a low around 20. South winds to blow between 5 to 7 mph.
Continued sunny days and warming on Friday and into the weekend is in the forecast for the Mile High City.
Highs will be in the 40s through Sunday and jump into the 50s to start December.
