Warming will return to Denver on Monday after a cool and fall-like Sunday.
Ample sun with a high near 81 awaits Denver residents today, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. We’ll have light and variable winds, becoming northeast 5 to 8 mph in the afternoon.
Tonight will be mostly clear with a low around 48. East northeast wind around 6 mph becoming light and variable.
Continued sunny, dry and above-average temperatures dominate the rest of the week’s forecast, but starting Friday a change will happen, with rain and colder weather making an appearance in Colorado via the first winter-like cold front of the fall.
Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 72. Light and variable wind becoming east 5 to 7 mph in the morning.
Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 80. Southwest wind 5 to 8 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.
Thursday: Partly sunny, with a high near 75.
Friday: A chance of rain, mainly after noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 67. Breezy.
