Denver weather: A return to above average highs Tuesday
A new high pressure dome builds back over the Four Corners region raising temperatures close to 10 degrees above average across Denver and Colorado on Tuesday.
Denver residents can except sunny skies, with a high near 74, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. South southwest winds to blow between 5 to 7 mph, becoming calm.
Tonight, expect mostly clear conditions, with a low around 43. East winds around 5 mph will become south southwest after midnight.
Similar conditions remain through the week as a passing cold front clips the extreme northern edge of the state Thursday, but little to no precipitation will make its way into Colorado from this front due to the blocking high pressure ridge.
Here’s the 4-day forecast from the National Weather Service.
Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 75. Light and variable wind becoming east southeast 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon.
Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 70. South southwest wind 8 to 14 mph becoming north northeast in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 22 mph.
Friday: Sunny, with a high near 68.
Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 75.
