Friday continues a stretch of hot, sunny days in Denver, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.
Temperatures are likely to reach 82 degrees with sunny skies and breezes between 5 to 10 mph, the agency said.
Overnight skies remain clear with a low of 56 degrees and winds between 5 to 7 degrees with gusts up to 18 mph, the weather service said.
The weekend is expected to bring more hot, dry weather with thunderstorms possible Sunday night, the agency said.
Early next week a heat wave could bring record high temperatures with some days forecast to hit 100 degrees, the weather service said.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 92 degrees and winds between 6 to 11 mph with gusts up to 16 mph.
Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 96 degrees and winds between 5 to 8 mph with gusts up to 18 mph. A 10% chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon.
Monday: Sunny and hot, with a high near 99 degrees.
Tuesday: Sunny and hot, with a high near 100 degrees.
