A week of warm temperatures and sunny skies continues Thursday in Denver, the National Weather Service in Boulder predicted.

Temperatures will likely reach a high of 69 degrees with winds around 5 mph and sunny skies, the agency said.

Overnight, skies are expected to remain mostly clear with a low around 38 degrees and winds around 6 mph, the weather service said.

Friday temperatures reach the 70s with the following days likely to linger in the 70s and potentially jump into the 80s, the agency said.

"We’ll stay dry with temperatures well above normal which will be enjoyable … but will also bring the right conditions for high fire danger, so look for the issuance of red flag warnings, especially for Colorado’s eastern Plains," Denver Gazette news partner 9News reported.

Here's the rest of this week's forecast from the National Weather Service:

Friday: Partly sunny, with a high near 74 degrees and winds around 6 mph.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 75 degrees and winds around 6 mph.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 81 degrees.

Monday: Mostly Sunny with a high near 82 degrees.
