‘Multiple days of snow’ set to hit Colorado in upcoming days
As previously noted, the National Weather Service is calling for the chance of heavy snow in Colorado from March 24 to March 27. This prediction has been echoed by Joel Gratz of the popular mountain forecasting OpenSnow website, with Gratz noting that “multiple days of snow” in Colorado should start on Saturday night.
Before that, National Weather Service mapping is showing the chance of a few inches of snow in the mountains, but nothing too notable compared to other major storms that have blown through in recent days.

That being said, mapping from the National Weather Service does show a good chance of precipitation, mostly hitting on Sunday and centered in the state’s mountain region. Mapping does, however, show that the Front Range could also get some precipitation at this time.

According to the USDA, Colorado’s statewide snowpack currently sits at about 108 percent of what’s normal for this time of the year, as of March 19.
