Colorado native Wyndham Clark, through his Play Big Foundation, announced Monday a donation of $80,000 to the Colorado Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation (CBCAF) to support individuals and families affected by breast cancer in his home state of Colorado.

The donation reflects Clark’s commitment in honoring his mother, Lise, and helping women experiencing similar battles.

“I am thrilled to partner with the Colorado Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation,”  Clark said. “Their commitment to providing resources to local families and individuals affected by cancer is exactly what my foundation is striving to do. I am eager to see how this donation impacts the local Colorado community, and I look forward to hopefully working with them for years to come.”

Clark, who is a three-time winner on the PGA Tour, including the 2023 U.S. Open, told The Denver Gazette in May 2023 his mom was on his mind during his first pro win at the Wells Fargo Championship. Lise Clark died of breast cancer in 2013.

“It was something I was thinking about, and I wished she could have been there,” Clark said.

Together with CBCAF, Clark’s efforts will help enhance the support and resources available to breast cancer patients in Colorado.

Clark’s family and friends honored Lise’s memory during August’s BMW Championship at Castle Pines Golf Club as well. Many supporters wore “Dub Club” hats in pink letter during the third round.
